Triton Brewing(R) Weekly Update – Beer & Yoga, Barn Phantom Gose with Key Lime and more!

We hope you had a great 4th of July. It seemed very strange without the fireworks displays, festivals and big gatherings, but we hope it was great just the same.

Triton Brewing® and Bistro at Fort Ben is open. We are currently in Stage 4, soon to be Stage 4.5 (beginning Thursday) of the State of Indiana’s timeline to reopen. This week Mayor Hogsett’s mask mandate goes into effect. Masks must be worn in Marion County beginning Thursday, July 9, in “any indoor spaces and any outdoor spaces where people are unable to follow social distancing.” That means that starting Thursday, face coverings are required to-and-from your table. (Here’s a link: backontrack.in.gov/Stage_4.5.pdf.) People have varying opinions about masks and we can appreciate that. However, masks have been mandated by the mayor. We will be adhering to this mandate at Triton Brewing Company®. Of course, you will continue to see our team in PPE when we serve you. Seating will still take a little longer with increased cleaning and sanitizing between guests. In order to promote social distancing, tables cannot be moved. Our goal remains to provide the safest possible environment for our team and our guests, and at the same time be able to provide an enjoyable atmosphere.

This Saturday, July 11, it’s the long-anticipated return of Yoga and Beer with Kati Black Yoga! $20 gets you a 45 min, beginner-friendly yoga class in front of Triton Brewing Company at Fort Ben, followed by a pint or NA beverage. KB Yoga is donating 50% of the proceeds from this class to Indiana Vote By Mail, a not-for-profit group seeking to remove the restrictions on absentee voting in Indiana. Class starts at 11am. All ages and abilities welcome! (This event is OUTDOOR only and will be rescheduled in case of rain.) To get your ticket(s), check out eventbrite.com.

Next week, Thursday, July 16, 12-10pm we will be hosting the tapping and can release of the Barn Phantom Gose with Key Lime! Available on draft and 4-packs of 16oz cans, Barn Phantom Gose with Key Lime is our Indiana Brewers Cup Gold Medal winning Gose with key lime, a touch of lemon peel, coriander and pink Himalayan rock salt. Fruity and refreshing! “It’s like lemonade/limeade for adults!”
