Triton Brewing(R) Weekly Update – Plan for Reopening, extended hours, groceries and more!
We are working to reopen, as are other businesses in Indianapolis.
According to the newest state and local guidelines, we will be permitted to re-open on Friday, May 22, and then only 50% of our outside capacity. This will certainly provide significant challenges for us and everyone in the hospitality industry in Marion County, but we will make it work. Our goal remains to provide the safest possible environment for our team and our guests, and at the same time be able to provide an enjoyable atmosphere. Please recognize that these dates are tentative and we are doing our best to keep up with the various rules and directives, which can change by the hour.
In addition to the timeline provided by Governor Holcomb in the “Back on Track IN,” plan, “Restaurants and bars that serve food may open at 50% capacity with operational limitations. Bar seating will be closed… Servers and kitchen staff must wear face coverings.” We are also required to follow the expectations laid down by the City of Lawrence and the City of Indianapolis. To this end, Mayor Hogsett added, “on Friday, May 22, in-person dining will be permitted in restaurants that provide outdoor seating and enforce strict social distancing guidelines for patrons and PPE for employees.”
Accordingly, Triton Brewing® will reopen our Tasting Room and Beer Garden at Fort Ben on Friday, May 22, at 12pm. We will be open with a very keen eye towards making sure that we are compliant with the health guidelines and expectations of the Indiana State Health Department and Marion County Health Department, CDC, FDA and our own reopening manual. Expect to see our team wearing masks and gloves when we serve you. We will have half the seating that we had outside, in compliance with Governor Holcomb’s, “Back on Track” Plan and Mayor Hogsett’s re-opening plan.
We are also expanding our hours! Beginning May 22, Triton Brewing Company and Bistro will be open 12-10pm, Wednesday through Sunday. The Triton Bistro kitchen will close at 9pm. We will continue to do carry-out and on-line ordering, for those of our community that are high-risk, or that prefer to take their meals home. We will continue to operate our market at Fort Ben, too. Essential groceries, hot food and cold beer are available. We are well-stocked with fresh eggs, ground beef, sliced ham, sliced turkey, smoked pork and beef and more. These and other sundries are on-hand and will be available, while supplies last. (PLEASE NOTE: On-line ordering is only available during our hours of operation.)
Order by phone at (317) 735-2706, or on-line at https://tritonbrewing.com/. A complete, real-time bodega grocery inventory and bistro menu are available on our website. Go to the website (or call), choose whether you want to drive through or carry out and tell us what time. It’s that simple.
Please stay safe. We look forward to seeing you dining-in, carrying-out or driving-through!
Stay safe and Triton Strong🔱💪,
