Triton Brewing(R) Weekly Update – Plan for Reopening, extended hours, groceries, #StayHome Case Discounts and more!

It’s Tuesday! We didn’t forget to send this yesterday, instead we were working on our reopening manual. We are getting ready to invite our guests back, starting a week from tomorrow, Wednesday, May 20.  The challenge is reopening under the current circumstances. Our goal is to provide the safest possible environment for our team and our guests, and at the same time be able to provide an enjoyable atmosphere.

Marion County began reopening yesterday, May 11, according to Governor Holcomb and backontrack.in.gov, for what is being described as Stage 2 of the State’s COVID-19 Recovery.  According to the Stage 2 Guidelines, “Restaurants and bars that serve food may open at 50% capacity with operational limitations. Bar seating will be closed… Servers and kitchen staff must wear face coverings,” beginning the week of May 18. Accordingly, Triton Brewing® will reopen our Tasting Room and Beer Garden at Fort Ben on Wednesday, May 20, at 12pm. We will be open with a very keen eye towards making sure that we are compliant with the health guidelines and expectations of the Indiana State Health Department and Marion County Health Department, and our on reopening manual. Expect to see our team wearing masks and gloves when we serve you as recommended by the CDC and the FDA. We will have half the seating that we had both inside and outside, in line with Governor Holcomb’s, “Back on Track” Plan.

We are also expanding our hours! Beginning May 20, Triton Brewing Company and Bistro will be open 12-10pm, Wednesday through Sunday. The Triton Bistro kitchen will close at 9pm. We will continue to do carry-out and on-line ordering, for those of our community that are high-risk, or that prefer to take their meals home.

This week Triton Brewing®, Bistro and Bodega will continue to operate our market at Fort Ben. Essential groceries, hot food and cold beer are available. We are well-stocked with fresh eggs, ground beef, bacon, sliced ham, sliced turkey, smoked pork and beef and more. These and other sundries are on-hand and will be available Wednesday through Sunday, 1-8pm, while supplies last. (PLEASE NOTE: Ordering is only available during our hours of operation.)

This week, we are continuing the deep discounts on cases of our beer with our #StayHome Case Discounts. We also continue to fill growlers. The Brewers Association has put together some guidelines for breweries to follow when selling beer to-go from their establishments. This guidance includes best practices for maintaining sanitary practices and social distancing in light of COVID-19. We stringently follow these guidelines to ensure that both our team-members and our customers are protected to the greatest extent possible.
